Luxury Transportation in the Coachella Valley

Orange County to Palm Springs is roughly 95 miles on the 91 and the 10 — around two hours, and unusually predictable for a Southern California drive. The San Gorgonio Pass is the only real variable outside festival season.

April is the exception. During Coachella and Stagecoach the corridor into the valley carries extraordinary volume, and the single most useful thing you can do is book the return in advance. Leaving the festival grounds without pre-arranged transportation is difficult in a way that is hard to appreciate until you are standing in it.

Highway 111 runs southeast from Palm Springs through Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and La Quinta over roughly twenty-five miles. Palm Springs and La Quinta are a real distance apart, so it is worth naming the actual resort when booking rather than the valley.

Palm Springs International sits close to downtown and is small and quick to use. Ontario at approximately 55 miles is the nearest large airport, and we run LAX and John Wayne transfers as long-distance trips.

Desert demand is sharply seasonal. Golf, resort and conference work concentrates between October and May and the summer months are quiet. Booking windows for the festival weekends and for major golf events close early, and vehicles in the valley are genuinely scarce on those dates.
