Downtown Los Angeles concentrates more event and business traffic into a smaller area than anywhere else in the region. Crypto.com Arena, LA Live, the Convention Center, the Music Center and the Financial District sit within roughly a mile of each other.
When two of those are active simultaneously — a Lakers game and a convention, say — independent driving stops being sensible. That is most of what we do here.
Getting around Downtown Los Angeles
The street grid is dense and one-way in many places, and the venues have specific drop-off points that are not always the street address. For Crypto.com Arena and LA Live we use the designated rideshare and livery zones rather than attempting the main entrance on an event night.
Grand Avenue holds the Music Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Broad. The Arts District east of Alameda has a different character again, with narrower streets and limited parking.
For LAX, the 110 south to the 105 is the standard route; the 10 west to the 405 is the alternative. Both fail at different times, and we choose on the day.

Corporate transportation in Downtown Los Angeles
The Financial District and Bunker Hill hold the city’s largest concentration of corporate headquarters, law firms and financial institutions.
Typical work is client collection from LAX, roadshow days across the basin, and hourly charters for board meetings and hosted events. Hotel arrivals at the downtown properties are handled through their own entrances.
Weddings and events in Downtown Los Angeles
Crypto.com Arena hosts Lakers, Clippers and Kings games plus major concerts. The Convention Center runs large trade shows, and LA Live is busy on almost every event night.
Booking the return is essential downtown. Leaving an arena at capacity while a convention lets out is when every app in the area surges at once.
