Airports

Southern California Airport Transportation

Six commercial airports, one standard: the chauffeur is in position when you land, and a delayed flight costs you nothing.

In short

Alliance Luxury Transportation provides chauffeured airport transfers to and from Los Angeles International (LAX), John Wayne (SNA), Long Beach (LGB), Ontario International (ONT), Hollywood Burbank (BUR) and San Diego International (SAN). Every airport booking includes real-time flight tracking at no extra charge.

We will also tell you when a different airport makes more sense. From South Orange County, San Diego is frequently the easier drive than LAX.

LAX

Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is the airport that punishes bad planning. Nine terminals spread around a horseshoe, a central roadway that backs up without warning, and an arrivals curb where waiting is measured in minutes before someone moves you along. A pre-arranged chauffeur is not a luxury here so much as a way of removing the part of the trip that goes wrong.

SNA

John Wayne Airport

John Wayne is the airport Orange County actually uses. It is small enough to walk end to end, close enough to Irvine and Newport Beach that a transfer is a matter of minutes, and pleasant enough that most local travellers will pay a fare premium to fly from it rather than drive to LAX.

LGB

Long Beach Airport

Long Beach is the airport people are pleasantly surprised by. The historic 1941 terminal is genuinely handsome, security rarely runs long, and the walk from gate to kerb is short enough that a chauffeur waiting at arrivals will usually see you within a few minutes of the aircraft door opening.

ONT

Ontario International Airport

Ontario is the airport that quietly solves the Inland Empire’s problem. For anyone in Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Riverside or the communities east of the 57, driving to LAX means crossing the entire Los Angeles basin — ONT removes that journey entirely.

BUR

Hollywood Burbank Airport

Burbank is the airport the entertainment industry actually flies through. It sits minutes from Warner Bros., Disney, Universal and the Burbank Media District, and the walk from aircraft to kerb is short enough that a tight schedule survives it.

SAN

San Diego International Airport

San Diego International is unusual: a major airport a few minutes from the middle of a city, with a single approach road that concentrates every arrival and departure into the same stretch of kerb. It rewards a pre-arranged pickup and punishes improvisation.

How airport bookings work

Airport work is the majority of what we do, and it is the service where the difference between a good operator and a bad one is most obvious. Anyone can drive to an airport. The job is being in the right place when a flight lands two hours late, knowing which terminal kerb is open, and having a vehicle that fits the luggage that actually came off the plane.

Every airport reservation includes flight tracking as standard. Your chauffeur’s name and phone number reach you the day before you travel, so there is no hunting for a stranger with a sign.

Airports we serve

We cover every commercial airport in the region, and we will tell you honestly when a different one makes more sense for your trip.

  • Los Angeles International (LAX) — the long-haul and international gateway
  • John Wayne (SNA) — Orange County’s home airport, minutes from Irvine and Newport Beach
  • Long Beach (LGB) — small, fast, and closest for the county’s northwest corner
  • Ontario International (ONT) — the Inland Empire’s airport
  • Hollywood Burbank (BUR) — closest to the studios and the San Fernando Valley
  • San Diego International (SAN) — often the better call from South Orange County

Choosing the right vehicle for your luggage

The most common booking mistake is sizing a vehicle by passenger count alone and forgetting the bags. A sedan takes up to three passengers and three suitcases. Three travellers with five cases between them will not fit in one, even though there is a seat for each.

Tell us the luggage when you book and we will size the vehicle correctly. A full-size SUV takes six passengers and six bags; an executive Sprinter takes fourteen passengers and fourteen pieces.

Departures: how we set your pickup time

For departures we work backwards from your check-in requirement using live traffic on the morning of travel, not a fixed allowance. Orange County to LAX can be 55 minutes or well over two hours depending entirely on when you leave.

If you are unsure how early to leave, tell us your flight number and we will advise.
